It is often really hard to find their nests, as you know. So far as I know, mine have laid in neighbors' yards only once, but it was very difficult to find and both parents moaned for hours when I broke it up.

I finally found the current nest, which is very close to the guinea house. Have had very poor luck with incubation this season, but this nest is in a place I can protect. I put a cage with very close bars on it last night and then put a wire compost heap enclosure over that. My RP hen brooded it all yesterday but came in to eat in the evening, so I belive she'll probably start brooding for sure today. I've successfully protected a couple of nests/moms with the compost heap enclosure, so hope for success.

It is late enough in the season, that with my luck, those who've wanted keets won't want them anymore.
