Subject: Gas went down..feed went up

I don't know if this is good news or bad news. I have been out changing water and filling feeders for the day. It is due to be 103 today and 104 tomorrow. I will be checking on the birds often and probably misting some. This is getting to be a bit dangerous for them as well as us.

I have tried keeping a small patch of grass alive just outside my back door but now given up that fight. I hope the rest of the country is holding their own with summer. Texas isn't the worst but mix in our humidity and it hurts at times. Lyn has been getting hit with the rain and humidity too.

I'd like to see how we all cope with summer. Please share any secrets.

Just another six weeks maybe, and I can start shipping a few of these started birds? LOL The way it feels right now I doubt that!
