I was just thinking the other night I should post something along these lines.
I am experiencing the opposite though which I find totally fascinating.
You would think with all the rain and the high humidity my mosquito and fly problem would be at an all time high. That is not the case. This year I have less flies than I have ever had. (shhhh I say that quietly I don't want to jinx myself)
I can not figure out what the reasoning is behind this other than maybe all the torrential downpours that keep coming are maybe washing away the lava and eggs?
I am not complaining I love being able to go to my barn and not be eaten alive.
Vickie if you come up with something to keep them pesky mosquitoes at bay be sure and post so I can write it down I bet I will be needing it next year for sure.
