I spent the morning cleaning out my small fish pond and trimming bushes and pulling weeds around the side of the house. I found a HUGE guinea nest in my flower box right up next to the window I have decided it should be safe enough so going to leave it alone and watch it. Which I can do from inside the house.
This afternoon I removed poop shoes from my silkies and trimmed their toenails. Man do their feet get in a mess using deep shavings. I can see where it really works with non featherlegged birds but silkies and showgirls with masses of feathering on their legs is a real problem.
The weather has been great today. The sun did wonders for my very wet sodden spirit.
