I don't have any keets right now but IF I did I could move them out to the barn into one of the brooder cages with a 250 heat light and they would be fine. Ask Ugly how I have them out there. Make sure you have a good wind break to keep bad drafts out and then add the heat light. They can move away if the pen you have them in is large enough. Keeping many inside the house can be bad news. Right now I am working hard to learn how to regulate my heat in the new Hatchin House. Early mornings I pretty much turn out any heat I have on the three weeks olds. I listen closely to the weather and may open windows part way. Today I was sick and didn't work so I went out early to check on things. I had left the 100 watt lights off last night over the brooders and early morning they were just fine. I left the windows closed since it was misting rain. About noon the sun was out and I thought I should go check. Good thing! It was now up to 90 degrees inside with the windows closed. I opened them up and now things are just fine with this GALE force wind blowing. We are due possible storms again so I am watching.
