Hey guys, don't plan on any keets from me. And very few eggs. Bad news in Central Texas! My keet hatch of 80 eggs! New bator and I fried them all. I am sick about it. I was going to bring them to VOO. What a stupid mistake for an old timer to make. I did not calibrate the thermometers and when I moved them to the hatcher, I realized that the temp was 108....Stupid - Sick - Disgusted. And to top it off, I am getting very few guinea eggs. I will bring what I can, but they are just not laying very well at all. (Is anyone else experiencing this, from the heat?) They are so heat stressed. Out of my pen of 80 guineas, I got 7 eggs today!!!! And I am running about 1 male to evey 8 females. Wow, they have been falling off like lead since this heat stroke started here in Central Texas.

But!!! Thankfully I am coming and will get to meet you all. I can bring some pairs of Millie's and Some Brabanters if you guys want either of those. Also will bring what guinea eggs I can too. If you want any, let me know. I also have a couple of Brown Leghorn males if anyone wants some. I am crossing them with White Leghorns to get me some sex link pullets to sell to the local for layers next year and I have a couple of extra cockerels.

I am leaving Friday mornig, sooo I won't be able to make it to the Peafowl deal unless something changes. See you all soon:)
