Subject: Thanks for all I have

I am sitting here waiting for my dressing to cook. I am heading out early in the morning to spend the day with my father, brother and sister. Dad is quite ill and this will more than likely be his last Thanksgiving. He is 87 years old, had a good life, lived it the way he chose. Even now as his lung cancer is closing in he keeps smoking and although I have never smoked...I understand. It is years too late to quit now.

My thanks are still there for all I have, have had and plan to have in these coming years. John is working his last two days keeping D/FW airport safe. He is retiring December 1st. He is excited and ready to take a break. SHHHHH don't tell him but I don't see a break in order. LOL I am making lists FAST.

The last year here on the board has slowed greatly. I hope it is just due to all of us being so busy. Lyn is being drawn away with her job more than ever. I know some have gone through personal lost of their loved ones. We are all going different directions but I hope we can still gather here and share and keep this board alive.
