Hey Terry, We all know we're missing a huge opportunity, but you have to realize that the team is young and for the most part is falling apart. We're in a major down year that may last at least another 2 years. everything is fallen apart, we cant even field a whole team, how are we expected to get organized for an alumni banquet? we're totally fucked all the senior who were suppose to take over, like mikaitis, bailed on us and we have no leadership. The leaders we do have nobody has any confidence in and nobody listens to becuase they have noones respect. its pretty bad here I'm thinking of transferring to ISU. Eastern rugby is a fucking joke now.
iF you want to help us out mail us a fucking check so we can just get shitfaced all the time and forget about how we suck so bad our own fucking coach left us.

To All Hornets young and old...

The rugby raffle was a mediocre success, we missed our target of $2000 dollars but did collect $1100-$1200. If our older rugby players actually got involved and sold the rest of the tickets, we would have made alot more... 5 Rugby players didn't sell any tickets what so ever..that accumulates for a loss of $625 dollars. You know who you are and that was shitty. If you can't sell 1 ticket you should kill yourself.. Worse--Out of those 5, 4 were the oldest vets and some even had Exec positions.

Rookies Good job, because of you guys we are surviving and the team is rebounding. We collected enough money to sustain the team until we can figure out a better way to routinely make profit..Thank you for you effort and now because of this, we can have this raffle every year if we would like too.

We understand that you would like to get involved in the club. I realize the memories and the advantages you've received from playing in the club. Unfortunately, the club is in a "Transitional" period of rebound and we have to concentrate on that.
I will work to try and get together a real Alumni Game next year during the spring...If you could please suggest a Contact to head the Alumni, It would make things alot easier and it might actually succeed. So if one of you would volunteer please post your name and a phone number on the message board. I would be happy to discuss things with him and our guys. We would have to set a date and work some other things out. After we can prove that we could succeed in that endeavor we will try to set up something like a banquet or something else like it. (They do this at ISU, and it is a great Success JOHN).
We know the advantages of having good relations with our Alumni. Money would be appreciated, but is not expected. Furthermore, if you are thinking of donating. You should only talk to two people who have the universal trust of our club. Our current president Chad Wilmarth, or our treasurer John Lydon. These people would make sure the money is allocated properly. My number is (708) 369-7523 and my e-mail is ecborczon@eiu.edu. I will be happy to put you in contact with them. We just had to pay Union Dues and we could use the money if you would like to Donate or if you could help us in any other way, your support would be appreciated. (We are down to 17 wearable jerseys total, and if we use the money we have to buy new one, we would be red-line again for next year and have to think of another way to raise money).
We just got our coach back, (and guys if you don't know Sean has agreed to coach us seeing as how we show signs of life). He agreed to help us out after our success with the raffle.I'm sure he would be happy to answer any of the questions that the Alumni have and I would again be happy to put you in contact with him. Many of you would know him since he has been around Eastern Rugby for a very long time.
I would like to play ball with you all. Please set a volunteer so we can actually make a valid attempt to organize a date to play.
Thank you
