Dande, I was reading a post of yours on TWOP about the difference in the Manning children's reactions to the women in Todd's life as opposed to how the children treat the men in their mom's life. The difference is the way that Todd tells them to treat the men; while Blair has never dictated to them how they should mistreat the women. Yeah!         Lurker, Blair has been able to sustain stories without Todd quite successfully. Tea otoh could not sustain squat without Todd. What TNTers don't get is that Blair is in deed driving their sad little story. Yep! she is driving them right into hell where they belong, but Blair is the catalyst for the TNT explosion. As Blair drives their story, she helps reveal secrets. These secrets are crucial to Ron's story. They don't get revealed without Blair. I don't see what's so hard about comprehending that.         I'm not pleased with Blair having any connection with TNT, but Blair is the reason that many are even interested in this BIG secret. Otherwise, who would care about Tea's secret? The problem has been in Ron calling this story a triangle. Most of us agree that it is one of the worst "triangles" we have seen. I repeat my assertion that Blair could most certainly succeed in her own story, but Ron won't spend time developing one for her because he would rather use her to prop other stories.         Waaaaaaay before Todd met Blair, he and Rebecca were done. Rebecca was scared to death of Todd. She wanted him on one level, but she would never trust herself to be with him. Even his kissing her had her on edge. Todd Manning has always wanted a "good" woman to love him. If he has that woman love him, then there must be something good in him. He keeps reaching out to that type of woman, particularly with the "bad" woman has rejected him, but Blair remains the love of Todd's life. Last year Todd altered himself be the man for amnesiac "goodie", Marty. Now, he thinks that Tea is "good". She's always honest with him. She would never lie to him. I digressed, but again, Todd and Rebecca were not destroyed or rewritten for Todd and Blair. Todd and Rebecca were over long before Todd and Blair became a couple. One of those things is that you don't come into another woman's home and disrepect the sanctity of the home and family.
