The waits may be from ads, or from the delay in the web browser laying out the page. I haven't noticed any extreme system tasking here myself.

If it's the banner ad and it's taking a long time to load, try hitting escape - in netscape the page should still be displayed. Please let us know if this helps; if it does, it limits the possible problems to the banner ad and browser page-layout time.

I don't see a change in font size...

The archive-size limit is based on the total size of message bodies + subjects -- it doesn't calculate the actual amount of data that will be displayed in your forum (like the additional overhead of outputting html on the page, nor the difference between formats displaying the message body (verbose) vs. compact mode).

It still is possible there is some problem with the archival calculations with the 150k, though -- are your messages being archived okay? Make sure to account for the message counts as well as total sizes.

I just took a look at your forum database -- it seems to have some corruption in it which could be fixed by running a Backup & Rebuild Forum Messages. Feel free to run that option, if things look bad you can restore, (and I just made a separate backup copy for safety right now).

Once you rebuild you should be able to see your totals at your /6848/info/status.html page -- Right now it is erroring because of the database corruption.
