Subject: Is there a way to get rid of the new message box?

I'm currently looking for a new board to replace my current Coolboard forum. Voy seems close to what I'm looking for, but I don't NEED that big post a new message box at the bottom of the page. All my members are used to a simple link at the top of the page, which is already on the my Voy index page. I thought that unchecking the "display new-post form in indexes" would remove it, but no luck. Any way to get rid of it?
