I checked your forum but can't find the suspect post in the main index, nor the archives...

I think your settings are okay -- you have your max threads set to 35. This seems to be working for you, unless I am mistaken?

Whenever your main index reaches one of its limits (number of messages, threads, or the total size of all messages reaches a limit you have set in the Main Index & Archive config area), one or more threads are moved from the main index into archive 1.

This process continues until archive 1 reaches one of these limits the entire archive is moved to archive 2 (and 2 to 3, etc.)

In this way, archive 1 grows until it is filled. We are working on a new FAQ for VoyForums which should answer a lot of these questions.
