Subject: Apollo's last temple's in Cornwall

Hi,

My name’s Daphne and I’m a new member of this forum.

I just want to tell you about this great ebook that’s just come on-line. It’s a fiction novel set in a Cornish fishing village called Linappoll where four Olympian gods are said to be still living in hiding.

It’s a fantasy novel, of course, but the book has left me with a strange taste at the end, I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because Zeus is depicted as a senile postman, Apollo as a ballad singing drunkard and Hephaestus as a recluse living in an abandoned mine. It’s far more than just an adventure story and proposes a who new creation myth the likes of which I’ve heard before.

It’s called ‘The Last Temple of Apollo’ and it makes a great read. I think there’s more to it than meets the eye in this book and frankly, I don’t think this is just a book for kids.

Anyway, here’s the link.

You can read the first two chapters for free and if you like it, you can buy the book.
I would also like to hear what you thought of it.

Enjoy.
