In reply to: Jen 's message, "babies hair" on 22:42:29 03/12/03 Wed

It depends on what her hair is like. Headbands work well for babies with little or no hair because they make them look more feminine. However, don't do one if they are going to pull it off. Can you pull up the front in a "sprout" with a little bow and then fluff the rest? Or maybe pull it all up and use one of the hair "donuts" from Sally's? It is really hard to say without seeing your child. I would probably consult with a H/M artist for other suggestions.

Thanks for the reply

I have tried the sport thing on top. It takes hairspray. I was worried it would be in appropriate for 18 months. I worry that I will made my daughter look too old, even though the hair style looks great on her. I am from New Mexico and here we don’t have a lot of pageants. Only two. Here people don’t really get into all the make up and stuff. I’m just afraid if I did do it I would be look down upon.
