Subject: job availability, housing, schools

My family and I are considering a move to Killeen, I have two sisters that live there but they are both military.I would love to get input from someone else on the area. I have been scanning the KDH for houses and jobs. I'm not having much luck, it seems that the cost of living is fairly high compared to the income potential. I have heard wonderful things about the schools, however. I would like to know what someone in the area that is familiar with the circumstances for civilians has to say.
