Thank you for your posting. This just goes to show that you never know what little tidbit you post may be of use to another genealogist.
Rev. George C. Groves officiated at my g-g-g-gm's funeral in Sea Cliff, Long Island. She had lived in Brooklyn for many, many years prior to that.
I needed to find out what church Rev. Groves was connected to, so that I would be able to research this g-g-g-gm's marrige record 40 years earlier. Your posting let me find the denomination.
