Subject: I'm finally done
I've had this "purse project" going for aobut 15 years......I'd work on it a while and then put it away...I finally finished it tonight.....Each square is a 6.5 inch cross stitched picture.
I've got a bag of yo-yos in my purse now...Only a few hundred to go until that coverlet is done...Anyone interested in helping?????(just kidding :-))

Love the quilt and the cross stitching as well. I have a bunch of squares done as well but not enough for a quilt and been working on them a long time but stillno end in sight! LOL TFS Cathy

Donna ~ don't feel bad. I started an afghan about 25 years ago. Guess what? it still isn't done. I came across it the other day and thought that I should ask my sister if she wants to finish it!!!!!!! Because I am sure I won't remember what to do with it!!!!
It was ~ oh I'm not sure what it was!!!!!!!! LOL I think it was all different colors of circles. Then you were to use green and make them squares. Then put it all together. I have lots of circles ~ don't know if they are all done or not.
Just might have to see if sis wants to finish it

Your quilt is gorgeous! My DD saw it this morning before school and told me she wanted one. Said what a wonderful famiy heirloom to pass on. Congrats on completing it. You did a wonderful job! TFS something so special.

From one 15 year finisher to another....job well done!! That is a HUGE amount of work you have in all of that cross stitch and it is gorgeous. What a precious piece to have in your family..I'm impressed!

Donna, the very hour I found out my sister was expecting I ran to the store and got an afghan you cross stitch. I worked on it for a while, then figuring I had 6 months I slowed down. Well!! The child graduated from high school this month and its still not finished!!!! Seeing your quilt gives me hope that someday I too might get this thing done!
I bet we all have this type project.
