Subject: Look at this great Walmart find!
I found these at Walmart today for 10 cents each. I don't really know what to do with them but I bought all that they had....26 of them for a total of $2.60. I just couldn't pass it up because I had a feeling they'd come in handy for something.
These are index card holders. They have snap closures.
I hope to figure something out to use them for. If I don't I may put them up for grabs here on the VOY eventually.

How about putting some of your favorite recipes on........index cards........ tuck inside & tie with a coordinating ribbon for quick gifts or even stocking stuffers!

Good thinking, Mert! I imagine jewelry crafters could use a neat piece of cardstock and attach their craft wrap it in tissue paper and pop it inside!! ;-) CM2!

They look like they would make a great gift box for small homemade items!!!

When I saw them, thought they would make beautiful holders for handmade jewelry, esp at craft fairs or gift card holders for birthdays/xmas. Cant wait to see what other ideas we all have.

Girls,
hit Walmart today!
They had lots of designer composition books, folders and journals for almost nothing.
The journal type books had a wrap around rubber band and they had a pocket inside them on the cover.
Nothing was over 75 cents. Most items were 25 cents except for the index card holders.
These were located in the stationary isle inside the store and were grouped in a sale section ( not scattered here and there.)
Hope you all can find some good buys. I knew that the index card boxes were too good of a deal to pass up.
Thanks for the suggestions in putting them to use.

What a great find! I know exactly what I would do with them. I would make letter envelopes for preschool. I am going to check out my Wally World today!

Gosh ladies what bargains!!! Bless your lucky stars you have Walmart...I really did have a ball when I was in Canada last summer and still miss the lovely sales and best buys.

I had to make another trip to Walmart today to pick up my son who works there.
They had a few new things out in the same section where I found the index card holders.
I found the post-it (unique) note pads in the shapes of flowers for $1.25. I also found "mathcbook" scratch pads for 25 cents each. I bought all they had. I didn't know that you could even buy the matchbook note pads. Thy're neat.

Glad someone had a good day at Wally world. i came out of our "Super Store" yesterday fuming!! Two weeks ago I saw the small chocolate covered graham crackers to make my graduation hat goodies for the parties I am going to at the end of the month. thinking it was too early to buy them i didn't..Guess what ....they ddidn't have them yesterday and the gal stocking the shelves said if they aren't there they probably are discontinued. About like everything else in that @#$%&* store. LOL My DH was going to buy me the 6 quart crockpot with carrying case for Mothers day.. don't have the carrying case anymore... had that a couple of weeks ago too. Morel of this tale...buy it when you see it or it will be gone!! Laurene

Laurene ~ I had to smile when I read your post. It made me think of my MIL. She passed away 4 1/2 years ago. But you would take her shopping and she would see stuff and not buy it. Then she would decide that she wanted it 3 or 4 months later!!!! But she could never understand why they didn't have it. 'But it was right here when I seen it before!!!!!!' DH would get soooo upset with her.
