Subject: OT--Kids Say the Darnest Thing

DD is in her last semester of college (if she doesn't get her Master's Degree) and she has to student teach this semester for her Preschool Degree. Yesterday they were making rugs with their hands and foot prints on them for their Mother's Day to their Mom. They were using yellow paint for the feet and and pink for their hands. DD was really hot and sweating a lot so one of the teachers brought her a glass of ice water so she could cool off a little bit. One little girl asked if she could sit by DD and she told her she could...all of a sudden this little girl told DD that she didn't want her to paint her feet with Mustard. DD told her that it was going to okay because this would make a really nice gift for her Mom and her Mom would love it. Finally the little girl agreed to have DD paint her feet with Mustard, lol.
Another little girl told DD that the baby (Allison (Rose) needed to come out because she couldn't get to see the Zoo on Friday when they went. DD told her that the baby would see the Zoo the next time they went but she wouldn't see it this time. The little girl told DD that she could come out all they would have to do is cut her out. DD was really scared to give them forks for lunch, lol.
So kids can say the darnest things we all know that. Just thought you all would enjoy a couple of funny stories.
Hugs

Katieangelamber....no she was more worried that all 16 of the kids was going to gang up on her and cut Allison out, lol. The Director of the Preschool said that Autumn's eyes got pretty big when cutting was mentioned.
