I do this on low for about 10 hours.

Moist and Tender Turkey with Gravy

1 (15-ounce) can chicken broth
2 cups water
2 stalks celery, cut into large pieces
1 medium onion
1/4 cup reduced-fat margarine
1/2 to 1 teaspoon Nature's Season
1 (4- to 6-pound) turkey breast, thawed
1/4 cup of shake-and-blend flour
1/2 cup cold water

In a slow cooker, combine broth, water, celery, onion, margarine and Nature's Season. Heat on high until it simmers. Add turkey, breast-side down, cover and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours. Turkey is done when the temperature reaches 180 degrees.

When turkey is cooked, remove from slow cooker and let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.

Meanwhile, to prepare gravy, strain vegetables, and put broth into a large nonstick skillet. Heat to boiling. Mix shake-and-blend flour with cold water and stir until flour is dissolved. Pour flour mixture into broth and heat, stirring constantly, until gravy is thick and bubbly. Serve with hot sliced turkey.

Makes 10 servings.

Forgotten Beef

1 1/2 to 2 lb beef stew meat
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope dry onion soup mix

Place beef in crockpot. Mix dry and canned soups together and pour over beef. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

I would think that new pepper jack cheese soup would be wonderful with this also! And Pork Roast would be great also.

Italian Beef

3 to 5 lb rump roast
2 C water
1 pkg au jus gravy mix
1 pkg good seasons italian dressing mix

Mix together water, gravy mix and dressing mix. Pour over roast in crockpot. Cook on low for 12 hours. Break roast, removing any string and cook another 12 hours. Serve on rolls. Can use a mixture of pork and beef roasts. If you use more meat, you will need more seasoning and water so that it still has flavor. Cna make the day before and then reheat it on low for about an hour or until heated throu serving immediately. Serve with good rools.

This is very good and a definite keeper. I put it on high for 4hrs. first and then on low for 4 hrs. Theres no need to cut it in half unless the roast is extra large (over 4lbs.) It was not the least bit dry and the sauce was delicious!

Ingredients:
3 lb pork roast
8 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
2 TBs. brown sugar
2 TBs. soy sauce
1/2 clove garlic minced (I used the ready made in a jar)
1/4 tsp. dried basil

2 TBs. flour
1/4 cup cold water

Trim off visible fat (mine was rolled so I just scraped it off after). Place roast in slow cooker. Combine all ingredients (I did this the night before so the flavours could blend) except water and flour. Cover and cook 4hrs. high and 4 hrs. low. Remove roast and keep warm. Measure cooking liquid from crockpot and add enough water to make 1 3/4 cups. Put in a saucepan. Blend flour and water together to form a smooth paste. Stir into hot reserved liquid and bring to boil. Cook and stir until thickened. This gravy is excellent. I served this dish with rice (instant rice using pineapple juice instead of water is a good one) and creamed cauliflower. I cook this on just on low .....

I've tried this with pork chops and it worked well too!

Crockpot No Peek Cube Steak Casserole

4 cube steaks or minute steaks
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 can of water
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
4 potatoes, halved, with or without peelings

Spray crockpot with cooking spray. In a bowl, mix soups and water together. Put about 1/2 c. soup mixture on
bottom of crockpot, add 2 steaks, put another 1/2 c. soup mixture on top of steaks, add other two steaks and
rest of soup mixture. Lay potatoes on top. Cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-5 hours (or until potatoes are
done). No need to brown the steaks before putting them in the crockpot.

Crockpot Beef and Peppers
Recipe By :Jo Anne Merrill
Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :8:00
Categories : Crockpot Meats
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
2 pounds round steak -- lean
2 green peppers -- sliced thin
2 tablespoons dried onions -- minced
1 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 garlic clove -- minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
* Use dried onions or finely chop about 1/2 of a fresh onion.
Cut the steak into serving size pieces. If desired you can brown the meat in a
little hot oil before adding to crockpot. Place the thinly sliced pepper rings
in bottom of crockpot, reserving a few to place on top of meat if desired.
(Vegetables cook better when placed on bottom of pot.) Arrange the meat on
pepper, careful to not stack one piece directly on top of another. Mix all other
ingredients and pour over meat and peppers.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for about 4 hours. Serve with
mashed potatoes and simply seasoned vegetables.

ALL DAY LONG CROCKPOT BEEF
(Jan Taylor)
1-1/2 lb. beef roast - use any cut of beef roast desired
1/2 tsp.black pepper
2 garlic cloves; minced
1/2 pkg. onion soup mix
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. steak sauce
3 carrots; sliced
2 celery stalks; diced
1 green bell pepper; chopped
1 yellow onion
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup tomato juice
Cut beef roast into serving sized portions. Use more beef if you need more than 6 servings. Brown beef in a bit of vegetable oil, although you can skip this step if rushed for time.
Slice onion and separate into rings. Dice the peeled carrots, dice the celery and slice the peppers into thin strips or circles. Place these into bottom of crockpot. Sprinkle the beef pieces with fresh ground black pepper, minced garlic and the onion soup mix. Place on top of the vegetables.
Mix the steak sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl with about 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup tomato juice. Pour this over the meat.
Turn the crockpot to high for 30 minutes or if you're in a hurry, skip this step. Turn to low, cover and cook for -9 hours.
Keep the crockpot covered as much as possible throughout cooking time. A crockpot can be used to cook this type of meal for a varied amount of time, depending on your schedule. It is not important that you take the meat and vegetables out at a specific amount of time. One or two hours either way usually makes no difference.
When ready to serve, dip meat and vegetables out of pot with a slotted spoon Use the liquid as is or turn crockpot to high and thicken liquid with a little flour or cornstarch.
