I have a blue micro fiber mop and I hate it. It really does grab the floor. I solved the problem by taking the blue terry thing off and replacing it with an old soft t-towel. Works like a charm. Now I just spray a little vinegar & water and go. No more streaks. I no longer get feet marks either.

I also have the laminate floors and have exactly the same problem. I will never have laminate again. I have used every mop and head out there. I've tried almost every cleaner from special laminate cleaner, vinegar and water and windex. I still have streaks and I can still see all the footprints. I am using the velcro cover that you are talking about right now because I've tried almost everything else. If anyone comes up with the answer, I'd also love to know.
Heather
