OT.... OH DOREEN.....
Hi,there long time not type, LOL. Sure am glad the board is back up and running. Just checking in on you to see if you had a good week and if you got lots of housework done since Voy was down? I went shopping LOL. Going to be a busy weekend but wanted to pop in and say HI. Hope you have a great weekend. Some one has a Birthday coming up so a package will be crossing the BIG POND SOON. Will let you know when MY SENDER MAILS IT HEE HEE HEE, wont be coming from ME that is for sure. Have to wait for the last package at Christmas to send MINE, HUM maybe not LOL keep you guessing right up until you open the box now that is an idea. YEP I think that is what I am going to do. So sorry! :)Well I am off to go see if I can find some trouble to get into. LOL Hugs SS

Forgot it was your Mums Birthday and you were having a big party. I hope you had a great time and Mum was surprised. How did the card shower work, I saw it posted, hope she got some great cards. Have a great week. Hugs SS

Hi my dear SS, sorry was not on the board lately and yes Mum's surprise party was the main reason...it was a great party and she was so pleasantly surprised. It was hard to keep it all hush hush as she spent the day at us and the party was in the evening so we had everything all set in our living/dining which thankfully we could close off.
LOL the fridge was full to busting with stuff we had prepared and we just had to make sure she did not open it.
When she had a nap in the afternoon we just did whatever else needed to be done.
I will post a separate message about the party so I will not have to repeat myself...thanks for asking and oh yes the card shower was a blast, they are still pouring in!!!
Thanks for checking in on me and WOW my week was totally booked, this morning I woke up feeling all my energy gone especially after washing up all the champagne glasses, dishes, etc. Thank goodness for disposable plates : )
Talk to you again soon, this morning my brother is treating Mum and me to lunch so I have to get ready.

Sounds like everyone had a great time at your house yesterday. I am so happy that the card shower worked. Can't tell you if I sent one or not, have to keep you guessing. Sorry! Just as long as Mum had a good day. Lunch out too, WOW she is a very special Mum isn't she, that is so great that you all are making her Birthday so special. Well I am off to get things done around here, I have a birthday I have to get ready to have SOME ONE MAIL FOR ME. I will post when I know it is in the mail since I am not mailing it. LOL I think you have sent one (if you are who I think you are)...I was just telling Mum about my wonderful SS and her teasing as I showed her one particular card in the batch she showed me : ) But then I could be mistaken!
We had a great afternoon out, my brother and his wife are also celebrating their Anniversary too so it was a really special occasion.
Thanks for making my very first SS year experience so much fun!

Hey there,I didn't say I sent MUM a card I said I might have. I know one or two of the MAIL Ladies sent cards.And if you are using addresses that doesn't work LOL. Like I said I haven't gone to the post office to mail you anything yet.Now it is up to you to figure out if I have told you a LITTE white lie or not. :0 I am glad that you and Mum had a nice lunch, seems like a lot of things happen in your family in the month of May, that is wonderful.
