Subject: Need ideas for a 40th military reunion

After 40 years, my brother & I are getting with 3 former Marines we knew 40 years ago when we were all stationed in Morocco. We have not seen the guys since 1967.

What is something, inexpensive but memorable, to make or give as a memento of the occasion? A t-shirt would be great but what would I put on it?

My mind is totally blank. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated. (((hugs)))

These might jump start your creativity..
Being a wife of a retired miltary person lol
military wooden coin like a token
Button or Badge
Ribbon
Plaque with the saying From the Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli
We will fight our country’s battles in the air, on land and sea
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean
We are proud to claim the title of United States Marines
Patrotic pails with candy in them Dollar store has a lot of patrotic stuff right now
Candy bar with the wrapper around with the marines logo on it
coffee mug you can get the supplies to do the writting or a logo on them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby
Marines have lived up to their motto,
"Semper Fidelis" (Always Faithful)

Some quotes that might help:
Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference. "The Marines don't have that problem."
--President Ronald Reagan, 1985
"Marines never die! They just go to hell and regroup."
"To Boldly Go Where A FEW GOOD MEN Have Gone Before "
"Heros Get Remembered, Legends Live Forever "
When It Absolutely, Positively Must Be DESTROYED Overnight -- Call The USMC
The Impossible Is Done With The Lord's Help And A Few Good Men and Women
USMC -- Improvise, Adapt, Overcome
USMC -- No Promises, No Shortcuts

and a good one for a T shirt for a reunion although it might now apply to all
Not as Lean, Not As Mean, But Still A Marine

Good Luck
