Subject: OT ~ Mum's 80th Birthday Party

We had a wonderful time yesterday and Mum was so surprised with everything especially finding everyone at our place when she came back from church. She kept saying what wonderful surprises she had this birthday and told everyone she has now lost count of all the birthday cards she received but I think it is pretty close to our '80' goal as cards are still being deliverd to her mailbox every day. She is still marvelling at how kind you all are and especially that you do not know her.
She asked me to thank each and every one of you who sent her cards and little surprises, for all your thoughtfulness and time in making this birthday so special...she said she has never in her life received so many cards.
I will try and get a couple of pics taken at her place with all her cards soon.
LOL I have just finished washing the punch bowl and putting glasses and dishes away and have been thinking of you here so I came to say hello.
I know I am expressing Sue's thanks as well as mine and my family's when I say how much your part in this has meant to us.
You are truly great friends, God bless you all.

I was so happy to see mum on the webcam and to see how delighted and happy she was, yes, I too would like to thank everyone that sent her a birthday card, this has made her birthday very special.
