Hearts for Hokies....FINALLY!!!!!!

Last year, I asked the ladies of this group and my charity if they wanted to make these small crocheted hearts in Virginia Tech colors, send them to me and I would see that they received them. I went thru alot of obstacles last year, trying to get them to VT. Especially when a lady in Student Services told me that if I mailed them, they would be trashed. I did not want these beautiful hearts to go in the trash. A group finally sponsored us, but then had to go thru paperwork to be able to distribute them. Our schedules did not work out, and time ran out. I packed them away, very carefully, and vowed not to give up. I spent the past week working on getting them to the school by the 16th. Today I finally spoke to a woman that will take them and place them out on a table for the students, staff and families to take!!!!! I was so excited!!! After a year, our beautiful hearts are finally getting into the hands of VT Hokies! It may have taken a year for these hearts to get there, but they will know that we are still here for them.

I am boxing them up tomorrow and I will post how many I collected to send. Thanks to everyone that crocheted hearts for VT!!!
