Subject: Jazbo's Yo-Yo Spider & Web

Bonnie sent me pictures of two of her creative yo-yo project. Here's the cute spider. (Can a spider be cute? I guess so!)

Jazbo�s Yo-Yo Spider & Web:

This was made last year. The spokes for the web are bamboo skewers with pony beads glued on the ends. It is wrapped (somewhat like an Ojo de Dios) with white eyelash yarn. (I glued every place the yarn was wrapped so that it would keep its shape.) The spider is 2 sizes of yo-yos, stuffed. The legs are large bumpy chenille stems with beads glued to the ends. The chenille bumps used for the legs on the spider make it look like a tarantula. I detest spiders! So I had to soften the look by using the orange polka dot fabric. The eyes are large orange sequins.
