Here's Dawny's short report on the London Tribute Gig last Friday :

Hi everyone!
Phew, what a mad week!!! Peterborough and then London tribute shows, as I said before I will email photo's once they are developed. Unfortunately for some of us ( i.e. me) both shows were videoed!!! However there are some great shots of us all on stage singing "Whiskey..." and Philomena enjoyed herself immensely at both shows.
Briefly the London show was a slight disappointment, only due to the fact of the strict curfew of 11pm :-0 and that Eric Bell was unable to guest with Dizzy Lizzy due to unforseen circumstances. However, neither of these spoilt our enjoyment. The show was opened by D Jackson who performed an acoustic set, as did the next act Alaska Lyle. Dizzy Lizzy were last on stage. The aftershow party which started in the hotel lounge finally ended up in mine, Audrey and Helen's room! Some of us bravehearts/lunatics went straight to breakfast at 6am and then to bed!!! I managed to fracture my toe in the process as well. Don't ask me how I did it, it's a bit hazy!!!!
It was great to see everyone,especially those who had travelled from far afield, Rog & Anita from Toronto, The Belgian Beermonsters Linda, Gino & Koen, Ozzie and her boyfriend from Sweden, Sabrina from Switzerland and of course Philomena, Graham and Audrey from Dublin.
