Guest Recording Appearance

Gary plays on a track on the new Trilok Gurtu album "Broken Rhythms" due for release in April.
(Available in France on March 22, on Cream Records / distribution Sony Music)

BROKEN RHYTHMS

Trilok Gurtu, Indian Master Musician, Composer and Serial Collaborator announces his tenth recording, Broken Rhythms.

Following the critical success of "Remembrance" comes another album mainly recorded in his home town of Bombay with a strong selection of Indian singers and musicians. As with all Trilok records, the accent is on rhythm and drumming - but this one more so. Add to this collaborations with the Tuvan Throat Singers - Huun Huur Tu, an unusual Italian String Quartet, the Arke String Quartet and an outstanding screaming guitar part from Gary Moore and you have a heady mix of bright and fast with gentle and peaceful. The listener goes on a dramatic aural journey played with love, honesty and skill and beautifully recorded.

...

Following this is "Kabir", named after an Indian saint renowned for his literary prowess where the Indian songstress Richa Sharma has her vocals shadowed by Gary Moore until his guitar breaks into full song in a shattering solo.
