Hi All,

I caught the last 15 mins of BBC NI production called "How the east was sung" Which was covering the East Belfast Music scene from the 50's through to the mid 60's. Eric was one of 3 main interviewees, one other being Terri Hoolie (who discovered the undertones).

Eric talks about his influences, and his childhood in Belfast, the imergence of Skiffle and how that developed into beat music.

He also talked about hearing an electic guitar for the 1st time and being blown away by the sound.

There was a promo shot of Eric with "Them" (at least I think it was) just before the end.

Cheers,

Davey m
