Date Posted: 12:25:52 02/02/04 Mon Hello Lizzy fans! Apparently Thin Lizzy did a brief cover of the Kirsty MacColl song 'There's a guy works down the chip shop swears he's elvis' at the Slane Castle gig in Dublin on 16th August 1981. Basically they mixed one chorus from 'Chip Shop' with another song, one of their own I presume, in a similar vain to 'Rosalie/Cowgirls song' of the superb Live & Dangerous album. So does anyone have any idea what Lizzy song it was that they slotted one chorus of 'Chip Shop' into. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
