Hi Phil,
As you know (but for the benefit of others), we were both at the Manchester gig a few years back. I was at the front and Phil was in the bar at the back :-)

We both wrote reviews for the old Starting Point web site ... and they're http://www.stormloader.com/thinlizzy/man_acad.htm", target=_blank">still there!

Whatever arguments anyone has about the validity of the band, one thing is not in question imho ... THEY CAN PLAY!!! Not wishing to put words in your mouth Phil, but I suspect your dislike of that evening's music was more to do with politics and emotions and not about their ability to play the songs well.

I think the point is that the post that started this thread looked to some like a devious bit of propaganda, placed by someone with an agenda. Of course, it may be an opinion. But my opinion is that it's bulls**t.
