It really did happen, and I remember Sykesy's statement to Philomena at the time was, "Thanks for letting us tour in your son's name for the past 10 years. It really meant a lot to us to have much bigger crowds than we could ever hope to draw on our own. We really appreciate it, and, Oh, here's a check for 500 pounds. That represents about half the proceeds from just one of the hundreds of shows we've done in "tribute" to your son since 1997. Thanks again."
