I seem to remember that Thin Lizzy backed Ditch Cassidy at a gig in about 1970 and were consequently signed by Decca. It's vague but I recall that Decca had come to see Ditch but ended up signing Lizzy. If that's a load of bollox, then sorry ... dementia is fast setting in. So based on my story, I guess that Ditch Cassidy is an aging Dublin-scene musician with tenuous links to Thin Lizzy.
