Date Posted: 16:01:55 12/24/03 Wed In reply to: Pete 's message, "Re: Long Lost Lizzy Album" on 19:56:17 12/23/03 Tue Pete, To me, the dullest and least effective argument is to say that anyone who doesn't agree with your viewpoint is not a true fan or a true Christian or a true Norwegian or a true Michael Shumacher supporter. Adding to your ignorance, you ignore the fact that I say I like listening to many of these tracks. However, my personal tastes lead me to believe that many of the album tracks are better songs than the ones that were left off the records or not finished. I have certain other preferences as well. I don't like pork, turkey, Chevrolet, the Dallas Cowboys, David Coulthard, Celine Dion, Barbara Streistand, right-wing whackos, community theater, funerals or Coors beer. I do like Thin Lizzy, girls with Southern accents, Ferrari, Carolina, Henry Rollins, Chinese food, Elvis, Nascar, Quentin Tarantino, Jim Beam, Thomas Wolfe and Alvar Aalto. Have a very Merry Christmas. >I'm sorry, but if you are not interested in unreleased >tracks at this stage (nearly 18 years after Phil >passed away).then you cant be a that interested in >Thin Lizzy anymore, so why find the forum? > >Speaking as one who used to think he had almost every >official vinyl release, except a few B sides, then >thanks to this forum finding lots of new and >unreleased tracks, such as Cant get away, Still Alive, >Freedom Comes, One Wish, Catholic Charm, People Get >Ready, and especially Beat of the Drum, and many many >more, I have realised how much variety there was in >Phil's tracks & would pay good money if they were all >put together and released. > >Anyway sorry to interrupt you listening to 'The Boys >are Back in Town'.
