Îäíîé âåðóþùåé åùå äî ïîÿâëåíèÿ ïåðâûõ ñîîáùåíèé î àòèïè÷íîé ïíåâìîíèè, áûëî ÿâëåíèå Áîãîðîäèöå. Íå äîñëîâíî:
"Íåò íè â êîì ïîêàÿíèÿ, èäåò äâåíàäöàòûé ãðèïï, ñïàñåíèÿ îò íåãî íå áóäåò. ×óìà, õîëåðà, ÑÏÈÄ ïåðåä íèì íè÷òî.
Íå äåðãàòüñÿ íàäî, à êàÿòüñÿ. Äà òîëüêî àáñîëþòíîå áîëüøèíñòâî ñêàæåò: "Ïóñòü äðóãèå êàÿòüñÿ, ìíå íå â ÷åì". ß è ñàì òàêîé.
