A QUOTE: " Secretary of State Colin Powell said on CNN's "Late Edition."

"If you say you're clean, then come clean. Time is running out. We can't keep hunting and pecking and trying to see if we can find something."
.......

Do we really think that that’s what the inspectors are doing? Why is it that a few weeks ago on another news show, he was stating that we have irrefutable evidence that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction? Share that information with the inspectors, lets find it and either force Saddam to comply, or get this darn war started. If we really don’t have the evidence that the Secretary talked about, then come clean with the whole deal. I’m getting a little confused at some of the things I’m seeing in the news these days. Everyone seems to be sidestepping issues and retracting statements. Is this the fault of the staffers that actually stated this rhetoric, or the media that reports it?

A QUOTE: Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said Sunday that exile for Saddam Hussein and other members of the Iraqi leadership would be a "fair trade" to avoid a military conflict.
........

That would solve some problems now wouldn’t it?
