Lush fields cover all open space availible, stopping short just at the tree line, the short, thick grass waving slightly in the breeze. The gently rolling land is divided by unpainted wooden plank fences, covered with diamond mesh that is strong enough to stand up to the abuse of stallions yet safe enough for the smallest foals. The field is only cut up into a handful of seperate pastures. Obviously most horses were turned out together. The fences are tall and sturdy. Even the largest most determined stallion would have a job escaping. A big water trough is set near the gate of each section. Each has itÕs own water spout and is heated in the winter to prevent ice from forming. Mature pine trees are scattered about, offering protection from the elements and relief from the heat of the day. A few horses graze before you, silken coats glimmering in the slightly overcast light.
