Subject: Defending 2 women who murdered a jogger

Mr. Hennessy,
Would you mind refreshing my memory regarding the case in Calvert County where the two women you defended struck and killed a man jogging on Broomes Island Road?
Thanks,
Daniel

Daniel, In response to your post direct your attention to the Bill of Rights of the Untied States Constitution, which guarantees that the accused shall enjoy the right of a fair trial.

I represented a woman whom was a passenger in a car. The car's driver struck a jogger and fled the scene. She plead guilty (against my advice) and received a sentence at Jessup.

I recommended that she not plead guilty because as a passenger she was not culpable in my mind. This was a tragic case with tragic consequences. She is currently serving her sentence.
