I'm trying to convert it to a GIF small enough so that I can upload it to 50megs. Currently it's a paletted GIF at 99KB, but it also looks very muddy.

Oh, never mind, I can convert it to a JPEG at 69kb.

I'm not hotlinking because this is a remarkably easy way to get threads into the archives needlessly (btw, you can reply to archived posts and bump them up) - pages here are limited in number of threads (300, IIRC), posts (350, IIRC), and size (400K) all at the same time.
