Subject: The Waitress Song

Jill's eyelids hung heavy. She'd been driving for hours, trying to get as far away from Swizzle Firma as possible. She eyed the holomap carefully, looking for a place to stop. All the places seemed so new, unfamiliar...Swizzle Firma wasn't even on the map. Was AAA retarded? Jill had heard some talk about new planets and stuff popping out of nowhere, but she never gave it much thought. She was too worried about her figure.

Paula was tapping through the previous owner's favorite places to go. The usual—interstellar strip joints, bars, etc. But something caught her optic.

"Starbase Rugby? That sounds nice."

"You said that about the QuickStop. 'Just get a few essentials,' you said. That video clerk kept on making fat jokes and then asked to sleep with me!"

"I dunno, I thought he was kinda cute."

"Maybe if you like complete assholes."

"Look, this place is a starbase. Not a convenience store. We can get a place to stay, a bite to eat, all that jazz. It's not that far. I'll even drive, so you can sleep!"

Jill liked the idea of sleep. After an awkward shuffle of seats, Paula was driving and Jill was counting sheep. Rugby ahoy.
