Maybe just maybe people are fans of the game but its really hard to justify spending 12,13,14 dollars whatever when the boys on the hockey team DONT EVEN WANT TO BE THERE!! and yes 99.999% of the time the otters games are soo unbelievibly BORING because the stupid boys dont even want to play the game! now some of you will get on here and argue that fact but the bottom line is when at least when I go to a game I ammm sooo bored by the middle of the first period its sick! i end up leaving anyway!! it seems the only thing the boys are interested are
1. getting away from home
2. what girl/girls they will take home
and
3. what parties they are going to go to or have or whatever!

These guys need support! Believe it or not, the fans do help the guys win games. They feed off of our support. I witnessed on Wednesdays game that once they came back from a 4-0 or 4-1 deficit and tied the game--EVERYONE in the stands was on their feet and cheering them on as they left the ice after the second period. They came back out playing to win. Although we lost in a shootout--thats not the TEAM'S fault. They worked hard and played together for regulation and overtime- killing a penalty at the end of the 3rd and beginning of OT. I've had bad issues with these guys in the past, but thats over--i go to watch the game of hockey and support them no matter what. Erie fans had the reputation of the best fans in the league. Let's keep that up! Support the guys through the GOOD and the BAD!!
