Subject: Transmission

I started having problems with my Kia the day after I bought it. It started with a check engine light and continued for the past 3 years.
The main problem is my transmission. There are times when my car will not shift into the higher gears and the RPMS go really high. I end up having to pull over off the highway or turn on my flashers to get people to go around me. It is very dangerous. I brought it into the dealership twice while it was under warranty. They couldn't get the problem to replicate so they sent me on my way. Of course, the problem has just gotten worse and worse. So, I brought it in again, now out of warranty, and they will not cover it even though the manager said that I probably need a new transmission (he made this diagnosis without driving the car). Kinda funny that he could say that I needed a new transmission without the problem duplicating itself when it is on my dime!!! I went crazy in the middle of the dealership. I tried to explain that if they would have fixed it when it was under warranty I wouldn't be back now that it was out of warranty. It should still be covered!!!
