What model and year Kia do you own? Is it older than 5 years old?

Also.... which area in Kia did you speak with? Just the dealer? A regional rep?

I have had a few niggly things like this taken care of quickly and without complaint by my dealer, BUT they've happened within the 5 year bumper-to-bumper period.

Fill us in on the other details. I might be able to give some additional advice based on what I read.
