>The crankshaft bolt on my 1993 KIA Sorento also broke and had to be drilled out. My car was in the shop almost a month. I had to fight and argue and threaten to get the warranty to pay for this. My car had about 60,000 miles on it. They replaced the bolt and guess what? It broke again the next day and was in the shop for another 3 weeks. I had to pay for my own rental car the entire time. This time they replaced the engine. Then came the overheating due to the cracked coolant bottle. Luckily I was only a few miles from the dealer when this happened and it was replaced. I bought a loaner car package for $250 from the dealer and good thing I did. Next, a pulley for some type of belt on broke and I had to spend $1000 to repair that. Now just last week I have lost all compression in valve #6 and they are supposededly having to pull and tear down the engine to determine the cause. They tell me that it might be fixed under some type of engine valve recall if they decide that is the problem. I'm definitely gonna get me a lemon magnet and drive around town with it. What a hunk of junk.
I just had my coolant bottle replace in November 2006,
