Subject: Various Kia problems

My first Kia, a 2003 automatic, I attempted to purchase with barely 20,000 miles on it almost caused an accident when the gas pedal did not react promptly when I tried to turn at an intersection. I was then upgraded to a Spectra which thus far has caused some grief as well. For one, my right leg is constantly bent, even with the seat pulled all the way back (I am 5 foot 10, which even my Korean standards is not that tall) and there is no cruise control making long trips difficult on the knee. Not the end of the world, but I expected more from 12,000$. I expected better gas mileage from a foreign car as well, I think the dealership hustled more than explained, they seemed somewhat arrogant in the face of Kia's American success. (Hopefully short-lived)
