In reply to: TONY 's message, "KIA RIO RX-V{ CINCO} CLUTCH ASSEMBLY" on 02:37:55 03/06/06 Mon

I have a Kia Rio, 2001. I have had CONSISTENT problems since the day I drove it off the lot. My clutch has gone out twice, which of course they said the warranty doesn't cover and it's "wear and tear." Yes, I am a woman, but that doesn't mean I don't know how to drive a stick! That doesn't mean I don't know that with under 50,000 that the clutch can NOT be worn out TWICE. The day I bought my Kia, the visor fell off into my lap! The check engine light is RARELY off, and its by far the biggest waste of money I have ever seen. I wish I would have spent the extra 10,000 and got a Toyota or Honda, unfortunately at the time I could not afford it. The dealership today told me it would be almost 1,000 to replace the clutch again! I told them to KEEP IT and am buying a new car, and leaving that piece of junk on their lot to deal with. It is not worth ANYTHING to sell back or deal with the headache of trying to trade in. I will be a KIA HATER for LIFE and will always warn others to spend the extra money and get a DECENT car!!!! Stay AWAY FROM KIAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
