I also have a 2001 Kia sportage which was fine until it hit 65k miles - now outside of warranty the check engine light keeps coming on - diagnosis Multiple Cylinder Misfire and I mean multiples! So far we have replaced coil pack twice, spark plugs and wires, Catalytic Converter, O2 sensor, electrical harness to fuel injection system, 2 fuel injectors and multiple odds and ends, now on the way home from the dealership - it does it again - 4th time in 2 nonths! I am thinking in trying to get a class action law suit instigated, need at least 2 or 3 other people I think to file - there have been 2 successful class action law suits files for the Kia sephia and kia Optima.
