Subject: 2004 KIA SORENTO MOLD SMELL WITH AIR CONDITIONER

I have a 2004 KIA SORENTO. I bought it brand new and have had regular maint. on it. I have been having a problem now for about a year with a NASTY smell coming from the air conditioner. I live in Florida and needless to say I use my air pretty much all of the time. When I took it to KIA they said that "alot" of cars have this problem in Florida and all that they could do was flush the system which cost me over $100.00. My air smelled like lysol for about a week and then the smell was back. It has been almost 6 months now and summer is just around the corner I don't use my anymore unless I absolutely have to because I don't want to smell nasty. Has anyone else had a problem with their air condioning smelling like nasty mold
