MM:

Can you provide a few more details about your problem scenario? Like:

- Year and model of car
- Number of miles currently on the car
- Symptoms of the problem
- Do you have all of your preventative maintenance receipts from the other businesses that serviced your car?
- Whether you've spoken to a district KIA rep yet?

After posting that info here, I recommend that you go to this website: http://www.kia-forums.com , find the appropriate car model sub-board, and post your detailed experience(s) there. There's a person from the Korean KIA HQ that monitors the boards there, and goes by the name of Schnauzer. He may intervene on your behalf to make sure that you're not getting a screw-job from a dealer.

I'll warn you though.... if the problem's due to a broken timing belt that wasn't changed at the appropriate mileage, then you're pretty much going to be on your own. Dittos if you didn't change your fluids regularly AND have the receipts to prove it.

In any case, be sure to visit kia-forums.com and post your problems there, because it's visited by WAY more KIA owners and KIA curious folks than this little board.

Good Luck.

-SM
