2002 Kia spectra . My girlfriend has had the run around about not being able to duplicating the problem. At 60 miles per hour her cars tach reads 3500 rpms. This is crazy when the car is in fith gear it should run alot lower than this. My 91 ford escort runs at 2500 rpms at the same speed. I beleave her transmission is slipping. Kia will not fix this problem and I agree that the powers higher up need to be notified. Feel free to contact me if i can help in anyway @ mightyslick@moonman.com

later , Ricky
